Angel Cabrera participated at 80th OSDE Center Open conference press

Official presentation of 80th OSDE Center Open, presented by CLARO Phone Company, took place in Cordoba Golf Club.
Opening press conference enjoyed the presence of twice-Major-winner Angel Pato Cabrera. Main authorities of host club, President of Cordoba Golf Federation Raúl Agodino, Villa Allende Mayor Máximo Martinez and tournament sponsors’ representatives were also present at the event.
"It won’t be just another edition of the Tournament. This 80th edition is important for all of us who have grown up with this tournament and who have witnessed its improvement”, said Manuel Tagle (Jr.), president of Córdoba Golf Club. “We have to thank sponsors who have made this championship possible for many years now”.
When talking about the tournament, favorite player Angel Cabrera said: “I have been practicing and I am playing well. I know I will play with professional and amateur players but I do not think about opponents, I just want to win. This will be the fifth Major for me and I always want to win”.
During the presentation it was also announced that players will be competing for “Ciudad de Villa Allende” Cup, which is given by the Town Hall. “I am very proud to participate in the award ceremony and in the city’s most important event”, said Mayor Martinez.
In a joking atmosphere, Manuel Tagle (Jr.) stated that Cabrera is only one Open title away to become the most awarded Masters player. Cabrera answered humorously that his comment put him under pressure.
The tournament begins this Tuesday with traditional Pro-Am (Professional and amateur players) championship. The main attractions will be Cabrera and Andrés Romero. The championship, which will gather the country's best amateur players, begins on Wednesday. There will be more than $300 000 in prizes and the Tournament will finish on Saturday at 6 P.M.
