Argentine Open starts this week with the presence of Angel Cabrera


After a break of several months, 2009 Master Champion is getting ready to play in Jockey Club Argentino course. He participated in the press conference on Monday where he declared that he wants to win the tournament again.

Official presentation of 105° Argentina VISA Open sponsored by Bridgestone took place last Monday in Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center. The tournament will take place December 9 -12 in Jockey Club Argentino.
With the presence of important tournament executives, the great Argentinean golf event is getting ready to take place in the country’s most traditional golf course, Jockey Club red course.
Tournament presentation enjoyed the presence of Argentine Golf Association President Juan Nicholson; AGA CEO Mark Lawrie; Jockey Club Argentino Golf Commission President Julio Sánchez Sorondo; IMG Argentina Director Jorge Prat Gray; VISA Argentina Service and Marketing Manager Rodolfo Masera; Bridgestone Corporate Relations Responsible Liliana Nassif; TPG Tour Director Gustavo Maqueda and Angel Cabrera, the great attraction of one of the most important Latin American events and the seventh oldest in the world.
“I'm not in the best shape for this tournament since the last time I played officially was the last days of September. Anyway, I’ve recovered from my back pain and the wrist problem. I would have liked to practice more but I've always done well in this curse", declared the Major "two-time winner". (2001 Open in Jockey Club Argentino) and 2002 Open (in Hurlingham).
