Two weeks of tournaments in Argentina
Ángel Cabrera will start playing today in Rosario and then he will take part in a new edition of the Argentine Open.
By PGM The current US Open champion, Ángel Cabrera, precedes an important group of Argentinean stars who will compete in Rosario this week, at the 73rd Littoral Open, presented by Terminal Puerto Rosario, Banco de Santa Fe and VISA.
Apart from the "Pato", other players such as Eduardo Romero from the Champions Tour and the players of the European Tour Andrés Romero and Ricardo González will feature in the event.
The event’s purse will top U$170,000 and it is co-sanctioned by the Tour de las Américas, the Challenge European Tour and the TPG of Argentina. Players from eighteen nations will participate, starting on Thursday, in the historic Rosario Golf Club.
Right after this, the next event will be in Buenos Aires at the golf course of the Buenos Aires Golf. The VISA Argentine Open, sponsored by Peugeot, with a money prize of US$ 200,000, will be the last golf event of the 2007 season in the country of the Tour de las Américas.
