Rory McIlroy won his second major, and the fourth in his career, by signing a card of 68 strokes
(-3) at the PGA Championship. One less stroke than Phil Mickelson.
The tournament finished almost in the night at the Valhalla GC because of a 4 hour rain delay, that threatened to cancel the last round until Monday.
McIlroy finished with 268 strokes, 16 under par, one less than Mickelson. Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson finished tie in third place, two strokes behind.
