Nobody believed in his victory more than him. That’s way, Angel Cabrera is a born winner, because his conviction is stronger than his talent. And that’s how he plays, leaving everything in each ball although sometimes it cost an award or some points in the world ranking.
“I knew I had to make something good. When I did three under in the front nine, I knew that on the back nine I had to make some birdies. I had chances, although the golf course was complicated, difficult; and this is a difficult tournament that everyone wants to win and that generates a lot of pressure”, Pato confessed.

About the key of his great last round, the winner said: “I hit much better today. Good exits, the strokes to the flags and that gave me more chances to make birdies”.
“I started well, with par and birdie, and that helped me to fight the rest of the holes I had left. On the 10, I did a bogey but there was still much to play, and I knew it was up to me. I had some holes left to make birdies and I knew I had to keep on fighting”, add Cabrera.
“Not many times I had to make an eagle to go to playoffs and finish winning, but I will remember this one”, finish the champion with a smile on his face. It is not for less, today he made great history of Argentinian golf.
