Same like last year, Angel Cabrera is the only latinamerican golfer at the Masters, and all hopes are with him. “El Pato”, champion in 2009, arrives at the first major, feeling great about his game.
No doubt that Augusta is one of the golf courses that best fits Cabrera, who will have his 14th chance at this tournament. Besides his win four years ago, the argentinian has other four top ten's: 10th place in 2001, 9th in 2002, 8th in 2006 and 7th in 2011.
One of the statistics that draw attention is that Cabrera is the third player who won more money at this event, after Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson who had won four and three times respectively.
Although his results in 2013 are not the memorable, the argentinian is playing good golf. His best performance so far was two weeks ago at Houston, where he was four days in the top ten.
Cabrera will tee off on Thursday and Friday with Sergio Garcia and Adam Scott.
